Natalie Charles (b. 1991, London) is a multidisciplinary artist examining personal archives and quiet intimacies. Tenderness is central to her practice, through which space is facilitated for reprieve and reflection. Her process employs an intuitive methodology of care based on materiality and intention. Influenced by her ancestral connections and empathy to light, she creates soft, luminous textures reminiscent of other realms. She builds worlds that evoke memory and emotion, utilising a range of approaches including drawing, painting, craftwork and animation.
