Rebecca Willing (b. 1999, Jersey) studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, graduating in 2023. She was awarded the 2023 Cass Art Prize for innovative use of materials. Interested in drawing and painting as both image and object, Rebecca joined the Royal Drawing School in September 2023. She has since developed her drawing practice through the transformative potentials of observational drawing alongside drawing from recalled memory and the imagination. This has allowed her to further explore how her use of materials, mark making, and compositions, knits together a sense of image, object and memory.
