Joana (b. 1994 in Portugal) completed a BA in Painting at the University of Lisbon in 2016 before graduating from The Drawing Year in 2017. She has exhibited in the UK, Portugal and abroad, including the solo exhibitions 'jardins' at Galeria Belard, Lisbon, 2024 and 'mole lunar sinal' at Soho Revue, London, 2023. Joana has been shortlisted for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize in 2019 and awarded The Sir Denis Mahon Award from the Royal Drawing School in 2017.
